Dr. Iqtidar Shah is a professor of economics at Yorkville University, BC Campus. He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Thessaly, Greece, where he was awarded a prestigious scholarship by the State Scholarship Foundation, granted by the government of Greece, in recognition of his academic excellence. With 25 years of international experience across esteemed public and private sector institutions, Dr. Shah has held diverse roles including academician, researcher, economist, department chair, and university registrar.

Dr. Shah has designed and taught a wide range of economics and business courses and has made significant contributions to academic research. Throughout his career, Dr. Shah has published 40 research papers in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals, presented 12 papers at international conferences, evaluated 10 PhD theses, and contributed two chapters to academic books. His research primarily focuses on critical social and economic issues such as development, environmental sustainability, gender equity, and higher education.
