Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Adrian attended undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto prior to beginning his law studies at the University of Leicester in the UK. He subsequently transferred to the University of Toronto Faculty of Law where he obtained his JD. Adrian articled for the prominent music and entertainment law firm Taylor Oballa Murray Leyland LLP (formerly Taylor Klein Oballa LLP) and was then hired as In-House Counsel and Director of Legal and Business Affairs at Anthem Entertainment (formerly ole Media Management). Adrian now manages his own Toronto-based practice, Battiston & Associates, practicing entertainment and intellectual property, corporate transactional, and real estate law.
