Audrey Lowrie obtained a Master of Arts (Honours) from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. She majored in Political Economy and Economic History. On graduation, she moved to London, England where she worked in the investment management/corporate finance business for twenty years. During this time Audrey particularly enjoyed sharing her knowledge about business and markets with the trustees of the funds that she managed. On moving to Canada, Audrey continued with this love of sharing knowledge by becoming a university instructor, teaching finance, economics and international business classes. The ability to share learning experiences online is a fantastic opportunity for student and instructors alike and Audrey has enthusiastically adopted the necessary technology to ensure a productive and enjoyable learning environment. Audrey lives near Kootenay Lake in BC, deep in the mountains where she can make the most of her love of skiing, and walking her three dogs.
