Brent Groen is a lifelong resident of Abbotsford, BC, just an hour east of Vancouver. He is a Canucks Fan, which is how you know he will have the patience required to teach accounting. He has undergraduate degrees in theology and business, and MBA, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. Brent has worked and consulted in the non-profit sector in addition to business, focusing on accounting and finance functions. He has taught courses in Accounting, Business Ethics, Business Strategy, Taxation, and Introduction to Business to thousands of students for over 20 years. Students often remark, “Wow, you are funny for an accountant”.
