T.J. Hoogsteen, EdD

T.J. Hoogsteen has worked in public education since 2008 and has served in many roles during that time. He has been a classroom teacher, a literacy interventionist and coach, and a school administrator. T.J. is currently the principal at a K-9 school in a rural community in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. He earned his EdD from The University of Western Ontario in 2018. Since then, he has taught in several graduate programs including Royal Roads University, the University of New Brunswick, and Arizona State University.

Research Interests: Teacher efficacy, rural school leadership, and the relationship between leadership characteristics, practice, and context.
