Willow Samara Allen, PhD (she/her). I am a white Ashkenazi Jewish settler educational scholar with an interdisciplinary orientation shaped by my background in Political Science and East Asian Studies (BA, McGill), Public Policy and Public Administration (MPPA, Concordia), and Education (PhD, SFU). My work centres on social inequities and change, settler colonial socialization in public sector work, antiracism pedagogies and methodologies, equity-driven leadership, and gender, race, and whiteness. I am passionate about, and committed to, supporting adult learners from diverse social and geographic locations who are adopting equity-driven educational change and adult learning practices across multiple cultural, institutional and community contexts.
